InMach invites development partners to project meeting at Ulm site

The SAFEAI team at the project meeting at InMach Intelligente
Maschinen GmbH with a fully electric municipal vehicle
.

The vision of offering a more efficient and cost-effective alternative to conventionally operated means of transport by autonomously driving municipal vehicles in public spaces is the driving force behind the SAFEAI research project. The challenge of ensuring functionally safe operation is the focus here.

InMach Intelligente Maschinen GmbH is a network coordinator in the SAFEAI project. In order to be able to test the solutions we have developed under real conditions, the company has invested in the acquisition of a fully electric production vehicle. In the next step, this vehicle will be equipped with sensors, electronics and specially developed software solutions from InMach. At the joint meeting at InMach in Ulm, the SAFEAI partners were able to see the vehicle for the first time.

InMach is proud to have the powerful and innovative cooperation partners HORSCH-LEEB Applikation Systems and the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen on board for this ambitious project. Thanks also go to the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection (BMWK) and the city of Ulm for their support.

More exciting and interesting information about the SAFEAI project will be available soon.
